Thermal falling films, a tale of wave and heat.

The heat flux across a thin film of fluid flowing on a hot bottom depends on the thermophysical properties of the fluid but also on its hydrodynamic state : exciting the film at specific frequencies could lead to a modification of the heat transfer.

Using an efficient asymptotic model capturing the hydrodynamics and heat transfer across the film, we propose a numerical study of this interaction.
